Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United KingdomGreen is the color . . love a world of green like this. I am puzzled, though, by the apparent high rise and fall of the water ? 24 Aug 2009 6:49pm @Ronnie 2¢: The rise n fall is perhaps cos of the angle of capture.. I guess I should atleast have rotated the image a bit.. Thanks for pointing it out :) Heather from Budapest, HungaryPicturesque capture! the red soil...I can virtually inhale the air impregnated by the mist... 24 Aug 2009 7:21pm Abhishek Joshi from delhi, IndiaThat 'Heather' was me..courtesy my room mate who had switched my name to a femme identity:) 24 Aug 2009 7:22pm @Abhishek Joshi: He he.. Why would he do that? :D @chakrapani: This was shot at Gavi, a place near Thekkady, Kerala. Its mostly dense forest and is covered in mist.. At some places, the fog was so thick you couldnot see a thing beyond ten feet! :) Mithun Varma from Bangalore, IndiaThe photograph is in total justice to the title..The mist really gives the feel of some island from fairy tales! Where is this place? Wayanad? 25 Aug 2009 5:29am @Mithun Varma: The place is Gavi, some 14 kms from Kumili which is near Thekkady. We had gone there for a team trip.. The climate was great and the place was so pristine! Srujan Chennupati from Hyderabad, IndiaThats a very beautiful and lovely shot. Great DoF and the exposure id perfect. 25 Aug 2009 9:47am Ajay from Pune, IndiaEnchanted and mysterious. On top of that, nature's beauty is so very well presented. 25 Aug 2009 4:53pm Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom( thanks for responding, Nishana. The horizon did not bother me at all but I was looking at the stepped banks at the shore which indicated the water perhaps rose and fell with tides ! ) 26 Aug 2009 7:33am @Ronnie 2¢: Aah.. I'm not sure about those.. I did wonder why the banks looked so neatly cut, but there was no one around who knew.. :) R.J.Dee from Ettlingen, GermanyI adore the quietness of the water surface and the orange colour of the shore - reminds me to a Japanese garden 28 Aug 2009 9:10am Harish Prabhu from Zuari Nagar, Indianever seen any place in kerala presented so beautifully...its surely one of my must visit places now :0 28 Aug 2009 2:01pm @Harish Prabhu: Kerala is a beautiful place.. God's own country is what they call it.. You should surely come visiting.. :) Barbara from Florida, United StatesBreathtaking! I love the green surrounded in mist. The red tone to the shoreline adds stunning color. 31 Aug 2009 2:52pm Erika from FinlandBeautiful landscape. It looks like the whole view goes to the nowhere.. Brilliant! 3 Sep 2009 5:43pm |
