Ajay from Pune, IndiaBrilliant framing. Reminds me of my childhood when we use jump on the slops full of these fallen twigs and slide down. Used to be fun. :-) 3 May 2009 7:39am @Ajay: Thanks, Ajay.. There used to be a hill near my Dad's village and as kids, we used to climb it too. But this slope is not as easy to climb as it looks. Its really slippery! I would never have imagined that climbing would be so difficult. I managed to, though.. ;) paul from Tadcaster, United KingdomI really like the textures of the pine needles and the slant of the trees - nice shot! 3 May 2009 8:50am @Pai: In this photo, perhaps.. But the place doesn't look like Panjarakkad at all.. For one, the trees here are Pine. The feel of the place is a lot different too.. Saneef from Bangalore, IndiaYou have captured the colours very well. Nice work! :) 3 May 2009 2:45pm Mithun Varma from Bangalore, IndiaAs Pai said, this one resembles our "pancharakkaat".. I liked the slight glow in this snap.. Well done! 4 May 2009 6:21am @Mithun Varma: When you climb the slope, there is a clearing. The glow in the picture is because of the light filtering in from there.. Getting to the top is difficult though.. The slope is nothing like it looks.. Its extremely slippery!! Ronnie 2¢ from London, United Kingdomhee hee . . you beat me to this one : it is a carpet and I recognized it straight away ! And, hey, love that lean ! 4 May 2009 9:56am Christopher from Atlanta, United StatesThe title is perfect for this.
