CET Series: The OwlPosted by Nishana Minhaz (Calicut / Kochi, India) on 15 March 2008 in Animal & Insect. An owl who used to live in the top floor of our college. There are very few classrooms up there and those classrooms are not very often used, so he is usually left to himself. This image is highly cropped, and its kinda grainy.. CET has a campus which is rich in biodiversity. It is a green campus. The Environmental Club of our college has recorded the sighting of 56 species of birds and 51 species of butterflies in the 45-hectare campus. Read the article 'bout it in the Hindu newspaper here. One thing I love 'bout this place is that it is not landscaped, everything is natural. There's nothin more refreshing n soothing than a walk around college, early morning. Hope it stays the same for many more years to come! :)

To get close enough to such a subject u may require a more powerful zoom..the blurry right side of the image then could b easily eliminated. 16 Mar 2008 7:17am dilip from Mumbai, Indiadespite being born and brot up in TVM, i hv never been to the CET campus ... and now after reading ur description and that article in Hindu and seeing ur snaps, guess its definitely a must see ... maybe next time ... :o) ...
