CET Series: Acacia ForestPosted by Nishana Minhaz (Calicut / Kochi, India) on 11 March 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. This is a shot from 'Panjarakkaadu', which is what we fondly call our cluster of Acacia trees right outside the Ladies' Hostel compound. Only those who have been here can appreciate the true worth of this place.. Needless to say, this is one of the most-haunted places in college. Sometimes, u can see an entire class comin n spendin time here. I have myself spent countless hours under the shade of these trees, enjoyin the music of the gentle breeze.. Ha! I aint gettin poetic now, am I? ;) This shot was a random one, I was sittin on a fallen tree talkin to my friends.. The actual dimensions of the Panjaarakkad are much larger than u see in this picture..

As it is, I love the composition ’coz it shows the very quality of space you describe. 12 Mar 2008 5:08pm |
